Xtreme Lacrosse began in 2006. Steady growth over the last 14 years has led to Xtreme becoming not only a recognized and respected name locally but also throughout the girsl lacrosse community nationally.

Xtreme Lacrosse Club offers girls in Central PA the opportunity to develop their game to its fullest potential. Xtreme Club members play with and against the best players of their age group. Xtreme athletes are challenged to compete and learn in a positive environment. Players learn what it means to be a team player and commit to work hard. This leads not only to success on the field but also to the forming of strong personal character development and friendships with teammates from across Central PA. The ultimate goal -- success on and off the field!

Youth players are able to improve at a rate much greater than school play alone allows. Our program builds skill sets that allow players to excel at the high school varsity level. Xtreme players make up a large percentage of Central PA girls named each year to League all star teams, US Lacrosse All Americans, Under Armour All Americans, and US Lacrosse National Tournament teams.

High school players are offered the best opportunity to be recruited to play in college by playing in the largest recruiting events in the country. All colleges recruit by watching club play. Our experience gained over the past 14 years ensures selection of the best tournaments and showcases that provide maximum exposure to college coaches. That experience also provides professional coordination of all aspects of club play and travel.

Xtreme players have the opportunity to receive personalized evaluation, guidance, and honest advise throughout the recruiting process. We have developed important contacts and personal connections with many college coaches throughout the country. Our connections and inside knowledge of the recruiting process afford High School players the best opportunity to continue play as a college student athlete. As a result, since 2011, we have players committed to and playing at a large variety of schools -- see list on the "college commitments" and "Alumni" pages.

Last summer the Xtreme coaching staff included 16 current or former Division 1 players, 9 former high school or college All-Americans, and 7 current high school and college coaches. Our coaches posses the knowledge and the passion to prepare Xtreme players for success.

What does a year with Xtreme involve?

Tryouts are held in August. All players interested in Xtreme must tryout each year. Prior team membership does not guarantee future team membership. We strive to form the highest quality teams comprised of the most talented players. When the numbers and quality of play allow, we form two teams per grade level.

Fall Season:
Tournaments in late October and November. Typically 4 for high school age players and 3 for middle school and younger teams. Fall practices will be held on weekend afternoons beginning at the end of September and continuing through the last tournament in October or November. We understand in season school sport conflicts and are flexible to work around those.

Winter training:
Team training will be held at Lanco Fieldhouse on weeknights in January and February. All teams will have 6 one and a half hour sessions open only to team players. Optional indoor tournaments will also be entered for those interested throughout the winter. In season sport conflicts like basketball make missing winter training optional.

Summer Season:
The summer season begins after Memorial Day and runs through mid July. Two to three practices per week and 4 multi day tournaments are scheduled for each team through the summer season. Practices are typically held weekdays in the early evening.
